Q: I found a dog/cat & cannot keep it. Can I bring it to FCNMHP?

A: No we are not a shelter or rescue facility. Contact Animal Care & Protective Services at 904-630-2489 or the Jacksonville Humane Society at 904-725-8766.

Q: What is the number for the each of your two locations?

A: The number for both is 904-425-0005.

Q: Are Vet Clinic services free or discounted if I receive public assistance/low income?

A: No, our vet service prices are already low cost. Being on public assistance or having low income affects spay/neuter surgery pricing. Please see our Low Cost Veterinary Services page and Veterinary Services Pricing page for more details.


Q: Do I have to purchase a City/County License?

A: The City of Jacksonville requires all pets to be licensed when they receive a Rabies vaccine. We have to report to the City who did or did not purchase a City License tag. The City could likely contact you and can charge up to a $250 fine.
