Feral Freedom Cat Care Assistant – Feral Freedom is a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) Program. TNR is the most effective method for controlling feral cat population growth. Using this technique, community/feral cats living outside are trapped, spayed/neutered, ear tipped (the universal symbol of a sterilized cat), and then returned to their outdoor home. To date, the Feral Freedom program has saved approximately 30,000 cats from being euthanized in the city shelters. That means there are a lot of feral cats that come through our doors every day- and we need your help! The Cat Care Assistant helps the team process incoming feral cats (in cages) for spay/neuter surgery.
