SpayWest Nassau
Nassau County Animal Services, First Coast No More Homeless Pets and PetSmart Charities have teamed up to offer free* spay/neuter to pets belonging to residents in the following zip codes:
- 32009 - Bryceville
- 32011 - Callahan
- 32046 - Hilliard
Free* spay/neuter surgeries and free rabies vaccinations are available to all dogs, cats and feral/community cats in the program zip codes. Feral/community cats must arrive in a humane trap.
*All animals must have a current Nassau County License Tag or one must be purchased for $10 at time of surgery.

SpayNassau
To qualify for free spay/neuter surgery for your pets under the SpayNassau program you must have documentation of your participation in one of the following assistance programs:
- Food Stamps
- Medicaid, MediPass, MedKids, HealthEase, Healthy Kids, (Shands) Community Health, JaxCare
- Women, Infants & Children (WIC)
- SSI (Supplemental Security Income – this is NOT Social Security)
- Section 8, Public Housing
- Show proof of Low Income Level Depending upon Number of Family Members
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Call FCNMHP at 904.425.0005 to schedule your pet’s surgery appointment.
- Request a SpayNassau appointment for surgery for your pet.
- Take pet’s city license tag. With SpayNassau, if pet does not have a current city license tag, you will have to buy one at a cost of $10.00 for each pet.
- You must bring picture ID, proof of residence in Nassau County and proof of your participation in above program or proof of income (ex. front page of tax return, W-2, pay stubs for one month) to surgery appointment.
