FAQ 1: I found a dog/cat & cannot keep it. Can I bring it to FCNMHP?

A: No we are not a shelter or rescue facility. Contact Animal Care & Protective Services at 904-630-2489 or the Jacksonville Humane Society at 904-725-8766. If you feel that the pet may be lost, please post a picture of the pet and where he/she was found on the Lost and Found Pets of NE Florida facebook page.

FAQ 2: What is the phone number for the each of your two locations?

A: The phone number for both locations is 904-425-0005.

FAQ 3:  Are Veterinary Clinic services free or discounted if I receive public/low income assistance?

A: No, our veterinary service prices are already low cost. However, being on public assistance or having low income affects spay/neuter surgery pricing and you may qualify for our Jacksonville Pet Food Bank. FAQ 4: Do I have to purchase a city/county license?

A: The city of Jacksonville requires all pets to be licensed when they receive a rabies vaccine. We are also required to report to the city if you do not purchase a city license. The city could contact you and may fine you up to $250.

FAQ 5: What time should I drop off my pet for spay/neuter? What time to pick up?

A: Drop off for your pets appointment for Norwood’s Spay/Neuter Clinic are (Dogs) 7:00am-8:00am, (Cats) 8:00am-9:00am. You may pick up your pet between 3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m., but we are open until 6:00 p.m., so you can pick up later if needed.
